No Progress once again today

Today I didn't go down to the Allotment due to the weather conditions and I didn't have time to go out to the Greenhouse. I hope to go out into the greenhouse tomorrow however due to the weather today and the expected weather tomorrow it is looking unlikely I will be going onto the Allotments until at least Saturday. Today i went out to the Garden Centres once again and brought further seed potatoes. The weather last night was cloudy with snow showers so this helped to keep a frost at bay however it still remained bitterly cold. This morning there were snow showers and these then changed to sleety showers for a time before some sunny spells. However this afternoon there were further snow showers. This has therefore made the Allotment even more saturated so it will make it even wetter than of previous days. Tonight there is expected to be another frost and some ice as a result of the wintry showers of today. Tomorrow looks as if it will be a nice sunny day but with a very strong and raw north easterly wind making it feel bitterly cold. Over the weekend a ridge of high pressure is expected to move in from the north west which should help to lift the temperatures slightly however they will remain below average for the time of year. This high pressure should hopefully bring some drier weather and therefore I should then be able to get back onto the allotments to do further jobs in the foreseeable future.
