Movement of Raised Beds on Allotment 1 plus Weather Update

Today I went down the allotment for about 2 hours and I started to move the raised beds between the Greenhouse and Polytunnel to make one long raised bed, which I will mirror on the other side. I dug over in the raised beds as I went along to get couch grass and dandelion roots out. I will need to at some point put down new weed liner and possible wood bark chippings. My Nan also popped down and has suggested the idea of putting down the fruit trees (that need digging up at some point from the sides of the polytunnel) into a line next to the raised beds and I will look more into this idea as time goes on. The next time on the Allotment I will continue moving the raised beds by removing the herbs from the other square raised bed and joining this to the existing long raised bed the other side of the Greenhouse. This will then allow lots of room in front of the Greenhouse where I will be able to put pots and also will allow paths down either side of the Greenhouse. I do however have to buy more joiners and pieces in order to build the raised beds as I want them. The bottom of the Allotment also needs a clear up and possible moving of the plastic sheds as these appear to be broken. Also when weather conditions allow I will continue digging of the plot but at present it is still to wet to do so. I also need to look at pruning the fruit bushes at some point. The Weather last night was very cold and frosty and has been one of the coldest nights of the winter soo far. No signs of snow yet and it was a sunny day today however temperatures were hovering just above freezing for all of the day with another frost expected overnight and possible showers tomorrow, possibly wintery, and remaining cold for the next few days due to the Jet Stream being much further south (Below Spain) than usual.
